Brands compared: Rubi, GRABO, VEVOR and co.

An overview of the most important brands for suction lifters and tile tools.

Established tool brands

Rubi is a Spanish manufacturer of tile tools and is known for the OCTO range, including the battery-powered OCTO-USB Energy and the large Octo-Kong. Battipav and Montolit also come from the tile industry and offer suction lifters and cutting tools.

Wood's Powr-Grip from the USA specialises in vacuum lifting devices, from hand-held suction cups to large vacuum lifters.

Construction site vacuum lifter

GRABO made the electric handheld vacuum lifter for construction sites popular. SEESII, VEVOR and numerous retail brands offer similar devices at significantly lower prices.

The differences lie in the pump, display, battery and pad quality. For occasional users, inexpensive models are sufficient; for continuous use, it is worth choosing established brands.

Private labels and OEM

A large part of the market consists of white-label devices. They look similar and differ only in details. Comparing technical specifications is more important here than the brand name.

Our database identifies such devices as OEM and retail brands. This lets you compare price and performance directly.

How we rate brands

We show the number of products per brand, the categories and the scores achieved. A brand with many inexpensive devices can on average rank differently from a specialist brand with few expensive models.
